2015 № 4 Business Process Modeling in Healthcare Organizations: Process classification.
In this paper, we identify the problems of classification of business processes within of the task of building a healthcare organization model. The paper will be useful for designers and developers of healthcare information systems, medical officers, health professionals, as well as graduate and post-graduate students.
2015 № 4 Information support of business processes of resuscitation and intensive care units in essentially first-aid hospitals.
The paper outlines the approach and describe solutions for Information support of resuscitation and intensive care units in Healthcare Information system. Supported business processes are listed, diagram of information flows are presented. Paper stated that there are two contradictions, the solution of which is necessary for the realization of high-quality program support. To resolve these contradictions the use of following solutions are offering: electronic-paper technology, the palette of fragments of medical orders and facility for abbreviations of medical orders wording.
2020 № S5 Approaches to improving patient safety by means of MIS
Approaches to ensuring the safety of patient treatment in a medical organization are considered on the example
of surgical treatment. The proposed case is implemented on the basis of the JCI IPSG4 “Ensure Safe Surgery” standards and includes the implementation of preoperative verification and timeout by means of MIS. The interface is considered as a chain of interconnected checklists, which was named “Green wave of patient safety during surgical treatment”.
2017 № 4 Changing Functional Requirements for HIS in the Process of Reforming the Health System
The paper analyses the changes of functional requirements for healthcare information systems (HIS) at the
present time. It would be useful for the architectures and developers of modern HIS.
2017 № 4 The Place of HIS in Methodology of Health Automation
The paper considers the aspects of health automation which are directly determined by the increasing efficiency of health care organizations that have switched to HIS, both as a means of automation of the health care organization itself and as a composite fragment of a regional or departmental HIS.
The article will be useful to the heads of hospitals, heads of IT services, specialists of companies engaged in the devel- opment and implementation of HIS, as well as for anyone interested in the issues of healthcare automation.
2017 № 4 Ways of Increasing the Efficiency of Work with Electronic Medical Documents
The paper discusses the ways of increasing the efficiency of the use of electronic medical documents in a healthcare information system (HIS). The author focuses on the management of the electronic document semantics through the thesaurus mechanism. The author further proposes the technology of conducting and applying concepts at different stages of work with electronic documents in a HIS.
2017 № 4 Support of Healthcare Information Systems
The experience of Healthcare information system (HIS) support is discussed. Outlined that stage of Support is as important as other stages of the life cycle management information system (MIS). The License service and the cost structure of Support is proposed. The list of services, the urgency categories, typical values of the parameters response time and execution limitations of support intensity are presented. Typical steps of the request management is proposed.
2017 № 4 At the Present Stage, How to Bring Together Long Term Experience in Healthcare Information Systems Development and Latest Technology?
The paper describes an approach to creating healthcare information systems (HIS) encompassing a long-term experience in healthcare automation, the changed conditions for the functioning of HIS, as well as latest requirements to designing and supporting them. The paper would be useful for the developers and users of modern HIS
2016 № 6 A Project for the Creation of a Management Information System for a Large Multidisciplinary Healthcare Organization. The Results.
The paper presents the experience of building the Information Management System of 9 Medical and diagnostic center of the Russian ministry of defense. Building integrated solutions for medical institutions included in a medical organization is not a trivial task; the build process takes a long time, technologically and knowledge-intensive. The generalization of this experience, as well as a description of some key decisions are the subject of this article. The paper concludes that it is possible to use the created system configuration as a model for military health care facilities.
2018 № 4 Development of an algorithm for automated wavelet analysis of clinical oncology dispensary registry data at the regional level
This article describes the issue of overload of the registry on the example of the state budgetary health care institution clinical oncological dispensary No. 1 of the Ministry of health of the Krasnodar territory. Maintaining a schedule of appointments and appointments to the doctor in electronic form plays a key role in healthcare information systems as the most widespread and socially oriented medical service. The aim of the study is to develop an algorithm for automated wavelet analysis of data on the work of the registry. To achieve this goal, there are used the methods of wavelet analysis of information that have been applied in practice and can be reused in other medical institutions. It is possible to create an optimal schedule of work of registrars and as a result reduce the waiting time of patients at the reception, by automating the process of analysis of data on patient’s appointments that contained in the healthcare information system. The reduction in waiting time should increase patient satisfaction and improve the overall impression of the health facility. For each institution, the workload schedule of the registry will be different and may change over time. It follows that the analysis and optimization of work schedules should be carried out regularly and automatically.
2016 № 6 Automation of the process of calculating the actual cost of medical services in a large healthcare organization.
Effective management of the large healthcare organization is impossible without information support of the economic analysis process. Calculation of cost of medical services is the cornerstone of the economic analysis of activity of healthcare organization. Adequate calculation of cost of medical services is a complex challenge. This article describes the problems, proposed a solution that is based on the use of specialized techniques and the use of two information systems: healthcare information system and system of automation of financial and economic activities, and describes software for the calculation of the actual cost of medical services in a large healthcare organization.
